...and charge those batteries for a rainy day.
Battery back up systems are a great idea to store that energy for black outs, or if you are off the grid, it just feels like part of the set up so you can microwave at midnight when the wind isn't blowing. Whatever your case may be, you are in the right place.
Once your turbine is installed and generating power you can optionally add batteries for emergencies or be off the grid completely.
want TO BANK THAT power?
1- Size the battery requirements for your project.
2- Purchase batteries and a charger/inverter sized appropriate to your battery requirements.
(we recommend purchasing the charger/inverter from the same manufacturer you purchase the turbine inverter and follow their guidelines for proper components and installation)
OH THAT FEELS SO RIGHT!
1- install the batteries in a cool dry location according to the battery manufacture specifications.
2- install the battery charger/inverter and have it hooked up to the batteries and an appropriate sized breaker in your local AC disconnect panel.
3- install any communication cables or special equipment and have the system programed to communicate with the main inverter. (follow inverter manufacturer recommendations)
1. CALL BLUE STAKES OR WHO EVER CHECKS FOR UNDERGROUND WIRES AND CONDUIT BEFORE YOU DIG!
2. CONTACT YOUR CITY FOR ANY PERMITS OR INSPECTIONS THEY MAY REQUIRE FOR ADDING A TURBINE.
3. CALL THE POWER COMPANY SEVERAL WEEKS IN ADVANCE TO START THE NET METERING PROCESS. THEY CAN GET BUSY AND YOU DON'T WANT TO BE WAITING ON THEM ONCE THE TURBINE IS INSTALLED.
We have knowledgeable support staff to answer any questions you have or even take over the process for you. We can support you in whatever you need during this phase. We are happy to help you be successful in your journey to clean, green energy!
I know we keep tooting our own horn, but this little turbine is making a big difference! Not just for the economically Privileged, but also for those around the globe who have never had power.
