off the grid you answer to no one!

By choice or necessity, you are living clean off the grid!

Sometimes distance dictates you are off the grid. It's just too far to bring the power in and you need something to replace or at least supplement that generator you're dumping fuel into every month.

01where is it going?

prepare the spot

You have decided to purchase a turbine! You will need:

1- to pour a 9' by 9', 7" thick, reinforced cement pad

2- (highly recommend) a fence (not solid) around the perimeter to keep out any curious species

3- a trench dug from your building to the turbine to run the conduit. (SEE #1 BELOW)

02How does it get there?

install the turbine

The turbine is installed along with the generator.

If you have opted to run the conduit and take care of the rest of the installation yourself, great! Let us know if / when we can be of service.

03Now
what??

connect to inverter

After your turbine is installed and the lines are run from the turbine to the building an appropriate inverter will need to be installed as well as battery backup sized for your particular needs.

...keep in mind

  • 1. CALL BLUE STAKES OR WHO EVER CHECKS FOR UNDERGROUND WIRES AND CONDUIT BEFORE YOU DIG!
  • 2. CONTACT YOUR CITY FOR ANY PERMITS OR INSPECTIONS THEY MAY REQUIRE FOR ADDING A TURBINE.
  • 3. CALL THE POWER COMPANY SEVERAL WEEKS IN ADVANCE TO START THE NET METERING PROCESS. THEY CAN GET BUSY AND YOU DON'T WANT TO BE WAITING ON THEM ONCE THE TURBINE IS INSTALLED.

Don't sweat it!

We have knowledgeable support staff to answer any questions you have or even take over the process for you. We can support you in whatever you need during this phase. We are happy to help you be successful in your journey to clean, green energy!

Now...go "oogle" at the pretty turbine!
